What are the necklaces made of?
The simple answer to this is that in most cases I don’t know. As an artist who recycles vintage jewelry and finds some of the most wonderful pieces at estate sales and flea markets, it is impossible for me to be certain about the composition of any given piece. |

It is my hope that you are buying the beauty of the final piece and not the market value of its component parts. I will always tell you to the best of my knowledge what a piece is composed of but my language is intended to be visually rather than technically descriptive. When I use the word silver I mean silver in color not sterling silver. If something is sterling I will make a separate point of noting that.
